Who we are
TheTechOps is a remote-first software company with its headquarters in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and team hubs in London and New York. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean TheTechOps. We're responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
Information you give us
- When you contact us: your name, email address and message, plus anything else you choose to share, such as your company, phone number, budget or timeline.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
- When you apply for a job: the details in your email and any CV or portfolio you send.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
This website does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange calls and prepare proposals.
- To send our newsletter, only if you've subscribed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To consider job applications.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We never sell your personal information, and we don't use it for automated decisions about you.
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on your consent (for the newsletter), our legitimate interests in replying to enquiries and running our business, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our customer relationship management system (BizCRM), which stores the enquiries you send through our contact form, and our email, website hosting and newsletter providers. They may only use it to provide their service to us, under written data processing terms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
International transfers
Our team works across Bangladesh, the United Kingdom and the United States, so your information may be accessed from more than one country. When we transfer personal information from the UK or European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

To use any of these rights, email us using the details below. We'll reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to the people who need it, multi-factor authentication and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the same care with your information that we take with our clients' products.
This website isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We'll update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on this page.
