04Why TheTechOps

Remote by design. Close by habit.

We've been remote since day one, so we've had years to get the habits right: overlap hours, written updates and fast replies.

48 people across 6 time zones

Engineers, designers, QA, DevOps and marketers. One shared Slack.

  • Follow-the-sun delivery

At least four hours of overlap with your working day, plus progress waiting in your inbox each morning. Time zones become an advantage.

  • Senior people on your project

No bait-and-switch. The people you meet on the first call are the people who design and write your code.

  • You own everything

Code, designs, accounts and IP are yours from the first commit. We sign an NDA before you share any details.

  • Weekly demos, honest updates

Every Friday you see working software and get a plain-English note on progress, budget and risks. If something slips, you hear it from us first.

Engagement models

Work with us the way that fits.

Not sure which one you need? Tell us about the project and we'll recommend one. You can switch models later.

Fixed-scope project

Best for MVPs and well-defined builds.

  • Fixed price and timeline, agreed after discovery
  • Billed by milestone
  • Change requests estimated before work starts
From 6 weeks Discuss

Team extension

Best for in-house teams that need more hands.

  • Senior engineers join your tools and rituals
  • Billed monthly per engineer
  • Interview everyone before they start
From 1 month Discuss

FAQ

Questions we hear before every project.

Can't find yours? Ask a person, not a chatbot.

Ask us anything
How much does a project cost?

Most MVPs land between $25k and $80k, and dedicated teams start around $12k a month. After a short discovery call we'll give you a fixed estimate in writing, so there's no guessing.

You're remote. How will we communicate?

You get a shared Slack channel, at least four hours of overlap with your working day, a demo every week and one named project lead who replies within a business day.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts and design files live in your accounts, and we sign an NDA before you share project details.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within one to two weeks of signing. Team extension engineers can often start sooner.

What happens after launch?

Choose a support plan with guaranteed response times, keep a dedicated team for new features, or take everything in-house with our documentation and handover sessions.

Can you work with our existing team or code?

Yes. We start with a short code and architecture review, share what we find, then join your workflow, tools and rituals.

Have a project in mind? Let's talk it through.

Tell us what you're building. You'll get a reply from a real person within one business day, plus honest advice even if we're not the right fit.
